Mugna in the English language is “to create” means Mugna sa Iligan (Mugna in Iligan) is to show the creativity of the city, not only in Iligan City but also the Philippines. The Grand Opening of the “Mugna sa Iligan” was held last September 2 at the Mugna itself. Mugna is one of the most visited places in Iligan everyday especially on weekends during August to October, where people are mostly to enjoy and have fun.
Exploring Mugna
You can find inside the Mugna is the mini-carnival for kids and adults also, food stalls in every corner of the place, a flower and fruit stall is also inside the Mugna, I liked the Bonsai plants’ stall which located at the few meters from the Southbound Entrance. Ukay-ukay stalls are also available there. At the mini-carnival area in the Mugna, you will find popular rides where the children and people can enjoy the rides for a ride fee around 20-40 pesos per ride (I don’t how accurate the ride fee, so bring some extra coins in case the fee is quite expensive.) In the night, Mugna is filled with many people compared than going by day, according to the person who was frequent visitor from Cagayan de Oro, I asked him, “Why do visit Mugna by night?”he answered, “Well, getting here in Mugna in nighttime gives me great experience, why?, you can see the lights glowing in the night and there are many people who were having fun with their friends. Every time I visit Iligan City especially in Mugna, every year comes a thing that is good and excitement for the people.” So what are you waiting for, visit Mugna!
